Dramanon Website Redesign. Before and After

TIME FOR A CHANGE?

A website can fall behind while your business moves forward.

Websites don’t usually become outdated overnight. It happens gradually.

Your services change. Your business grows. Your branding develops. Customers increasingly visit from their phones. Search engines change. And before long, the website that once did the job no longer represents the business properly.

It Looks Dated

An older design can make an established business appear less professional than it really is.

It’s Difficult to Use

Confusing navigation, cluttered pages and poor mobile layouts make it harder for customers to find what they need.

Your Business Has Changed

The website may no longer accurately reflect your services, customers, team or the direction of the business.

It’s Difficult to Update

Older themes, page builders or website setups can make even straightforward changes unnecessarily difficult.

It’s Not Generating Enquiries

Visitors may be reaching the website but aren’t being given a clear route towards contacting you.

It’s Become Disorganised

Years of adding pages and content can leave a website disorganised and difficult for customers and search engines to understand.

Dramanon Website Redesign Workflow

NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS REPLACING

A redesign doesn’t mean throwing everything away.

An existing website may already contain valuable content, established pages, customer reviews, photographs and URLs that appear in search results.
I’ll review what you already have before deciding what should happen next.

KEEP

What’s already working.
Useful content, established URLs, strong imagery and pages that still serve your customers shouldn’t disappear simply because the design is changing.

IMPROVE

What’s worth developing.
Good pages can often be reorganised, rewritten or redesigned to make them clearer, more useful and easier to navigate.

REBUILD

What is holding the website back.
Outdated layouts, poor mobile design, unsuitable page structures and older technical elements can be replaced with a cleaner modern approach.

REMOVE

What no longer has a purpose.
Old, duplicated or irrelevant content doesn’t need to be carried into the new website simply because it existed before.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE

More than a new coat of paint.

A successful website redesign isn’t simply changing colours, fonts and photographs.

It’s an opportunity to improve how the website is structured, how customers move through it and how clearly your business is presented.

Before After

Before

Dated layouts, cluttered navigation, weak calls to action and a website structure that has grown without a clear plan.

After

Cleaner design, clearer navigation, stronger service presentation and obvious routes for potential customers to take the next step.

MORE THAN THE DESIGN?

We’ll look at the whole website.

A redesign gives us an opportunity to review much more than how your website looks.

Design & Branding

Bring the website closer to how your business looks and presents itself today.

Website Structure

Reorganise pages and navigation so customers can find important information more easily.

Mobile Experience

Improve how the website looks and works across phones, tablets and desktops.

Service Pages

Give important services enough room rather than squeezing everything into one page.

Enquiries

Introduce clearer calls to action and make it easier for potential customers to contact you.

SEO Foundations

Review page titles, metadata, sitemap, internal links and other important search foundations.

Existing URLs

Identify established pages that should be retained or redirected rather than simply disappearing.

Performance

Remove unnecessary complexity and rebuild the website with performance and usability in mind.

PROTECTING WHAT YOU'VE BUILT

Your old website may already have value in Google.

Replacing an existing website without considering its current pages and URLs can create unnecessary problems.

Before rebuilding an established website, I’ll look at its existing structure and identify content and URLs that may need to be retained, improved or redirected.

Existing Pages

Useful pages don’t need to disappear simply because the design is changing.

URL Structure

Where practical, valuable existing URLs can be retained rather than changed unnecessarily.

Redirects

Where a URL genuinely needs to change, appropriate redirects can be put in place so visitors and search engines aren’t simply sent to a dead page.

Search Foundations

Metadata, sitemaps, internal linking and search engine setup can be reviewed as part of the new website.

No website redesign can guarantee that search rankings will remain unchanged. The aim is to handle the transition carefully and avoid unnecessary changes that could damage established search visibility.

CLEAR PRICING

The cost depends on the website we need to build.

A redesign isn’t automatically more expensive than building a new website.

Once I’ve reviewed what you currently have, I’ll recommend the most appropriate starting point based on the size and structure the redesigned website actually needs.

A SMOOTHER CHANGEOVER

Your current website stays live while the new one is built.

In most cases, your existing website can remain online while I work on the replacement.

The new website is built separately, allowing us to design, review and test it before replacing the existing site.

When everything is ready,

I’ll carry out the changeover and complete the important launch checks.

That means your business doesn’t need to sit with an unfinished website visible to customers while the redesign is taking place.

HOW IT WORKS

From your existing website to something better.

01.

Review

We’ll start with what you already have.

I’ll review your current website, its structure and what you’re looking to change.

We’ll identify the parts worth keeping and the areas that need improvement.

02.

Plan

We’ll decide what the new website needs.

We’ll agree the structure, pages, content and appropriate website package before the main build begins.

Where existing URLs or content need to be retained, we’ll account for those in the plan.

03.

Redesign & Build

I’ll build the new website separately.

Your existing website can remain live while I create the replacement.

You’ll be able to review the new design and provide feedback before launch.

04.

Changeover

We’ll replace the old website when everything is ready.

I’ll complete the final checks, deal with agreed redirects and search engine setup, and put the redesigned website live.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about redesigning your website.

If your website looks dated, doesn't work well on mobile, is difficult to navigate, no longer represents your services or has become difficult to maintain, a redesign may be worthwhile.
I'll review what you already have before recommending whether a rebuild is actually necessary.

Not necessarily.
The first step is identifying what's worth keeping.
Useful content, imagery, URLs and other elements can often be retained while the design, structure and technical foundations are improved.

The cost depends primarily on the size and requirements of the website we need to create.

As a starting point, my website packages are:

Essential Website — £897 — up to 5 pages
Business Website — £1,397 — up to 12 pages
Advanced Website — £2,997 — up to 30 pages

I'll review your current website and recommend the most appropriate option.

In most cases, yes.
Your new website can be built separately while the existing website remains live. Once the replacement has been reviewed and approved, we'll carry out the changeover.

Search rankings can never be guaranteed.
However, existing pages, URLs, content and redirects can be considered during the redesign to avoid unnecessary changes that could affect established search visibility.

Yes, where it's still useful.
We can retain good content, improve pages that need updating and remove information that is outdated or no longer relevant.

Where an existing URL is useful and appropriate, retaining it can often be the best option.
If URLs need to change, redirects can be used where appropriate to direct visitors and search engines towards the replacement content.

Yes.
It doesn't matter whether your current website was built by another web designer, agency or internally.
I'll first review what you have and determine the most sensible way to approach the rebuild.

That's not necessarily a problem.
I'll review the existing website and determine what content and structure should be carried across to the new WordPress website.

Yes.
The redesigned website will be built to work across desktop, tablet and mobile, rather than treating mobile as an afterthought.

Yes.
A redesign is often the right time to add new services or restructure existing content.
We'll agree the proposed website structure before the project begins so it's clear what's included within the price.

You can leave the ongoing technical side with me.

Website Care is £25 per month and covers hosting, maintenance, updates and ongoing website support.

Additional pages, content and smart website systems can also be added as your website develops.

Still have a question?

You don’t need to work that out before contacting me.

Send me your existing website and tell me what you’re unhappy with. I’ll take a look and give you a straightforward recommendation on what I’d keep, what I’d improve and whether rebuilding it makes sense.
