In this article and video I cover a number of websites that you can use to make money online in 2019.
Some use active methods to generate income and others use passive methods to generate money.
It is important to understand the difference between the two types of income creation.
Active Income
Making active income online is where you exchange your time and services in exchange for payment.Â
For example, I am a web designer, I create all the websites for my clients personally but to do this takes a lot of my time. Â
My clients pay me for the service of creating the website or they pay me by the hour to work on their website.
Therefore, creating a website for a client is how I create active income.
Passive Income
Making Passive income via the internet is where you create something or do work one time and you continue to get paid into the future with little to no more work involved.
For example, many of the income streams that I receive are from affiliate products that I promote. Â
I create a video or a article like this that has affiliate links (connections to another website) in it and when someone clicks that link and goes to the website I will receive a payment. I will cover affiliate marketing in another article.
The same is true for digital courses like you see on Udemy, which is a website later in this post. You create a course, upload it onto the platform and they sell it for you. You do not have to keep creating the course, the same content just gets resold again and again.
This generates a passive income and another income stream for you. The beauty of that is that you can just creating valuable content and create more and more streams of income.Â

Method 1 - Upwork

Upwork is a world wide Freelance workers network where anyone looking for services or employees can go to for any job you can imagine.
There is a huge range of work available so will suit anyone, regardless of skill level.Â
You can work as a Virtual Assistance, Customer Services Assistant, Social Media Manager, Web Designer and many more things.
Visit the website, choose work that suits you and get your name out there.
I have a number of people who work for me who I hired directly from Upwork.
Method 2 - YouTube
YouTube is the second largest internet search engine in the world, it is second only to Google and if you understand how YouTube works you can make a fortune.
If you provide valuable content in video format and are consistent and focused in your work you can create income in a number of ways.
When I refer to content you can create videos about anything you want and you do not even have to video yourself, you can use software to create your videos.Â
Even Microsoft Powerpoint can be used to create high quality information videos or you can just put lots of clips together to create a montage.
There are generally two ways to get paid by YouTube, the first is by placing affiliate links into your video description, the other method is advertising on your channel.
Once you reach 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 subscribers to your YouTube Channel, YouTube will start to run related adverts on your videos, any clicks you receive through those adverts you will get paid for.
If you are unsure how to start, I recommend you get onto YouTube and look for what you are interested in, find good videos, make notes and then create your own version of them until you get more confident.
Method 3 - Amazon Affiliate Network
Amazon is the biggest online retailer on the planet, so why not have a piece of the pie?
You can sign up for a free Amazon Affiliate Network account, generate a link to anything at all in the website and share that link.
You can share it on social media, on websites, in content, on YouTube and any other method you can think of. Anyone who clicks your link and makes a purchase from Amazon, you will get paid.
The beauty of the Amazon Affiliate Network is that they retain information (cookies) for 60 days, so if that person who clicked through buys anything at all you will still get paid.
Amazon is one of the easiest affiliate networks available, just look for bargains and promote the links via Social Media.
Method 4 - Amazon Kindle Publishing
In years past, getting your writing or books published was virtually impossible, however, with Amazon Kindle (best invention ever) many people are making a full time living publishing ebooks online.
It is incredibly simple to do and you can even outsource the work to someone online if you do not like the thought of writing yourself.
However much you charge is up to but once the book has been written and published it creates another passive income stream.

You do not even need a great camera anymore, if you have a good smart phone then you have all the tools you need to start making money selling your photos and images on Shutterstock.

There really is no excuse for not finding a way to make money using the power of the internet.

Fiverr is one of the greatest websites that I have found online.Â
I use it on a regular basis now and will for many years to come.
It is a website where you can offer services of any kind and the minimum costis noramlly $5.
However, it is very rare that I will just take the minimum package. Generally it will be the premium package because this really offers the best value.
There really are too many services to list in this article, you need to pop across and have a look around to see what is on offer and what you can offer to the marketplace.
Even if you do not become a seller on Fiverr it is a great place to get work completed for numerous projects at an affordable price.
Method 9 - Ali Express Drop Shipping
Ali Express is a Chinese online retailer with added benefits.
Not only are the products super cheap, it provides a fantastic drop shipping option to anyone who uses it.
If you have not heard of Drop Shipping before, this is a facility where someone purchases an item from you, you then order the item from a third party, the third party then ships the item direct to the buyer.
The buyer does not even know that you have not been involved with the item at all. You also choose the price for which you sell the item for so you can create your own profit margin.

eBay is probably the easiest introduction to making money online because you can start by selling items from around your home.

I have run a number of eBay business alongside my other streams of income. My wife earns a huge amount from eBay and the only thing she can do on a computer is work eBay.
